What Dress for Women to Publicly Wear?

It has been said that:

Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.

The reactive commonality of all humans is substantiated by the fact that all humans came from former-ground-dust Adam and former-Adam-rib Eve (both created by the Creator God Himself), and from only eight heterosexual persons who stepped off Noah's Ark after the cataclysmic Worldwide Flood and accompanying multi-colored non-homosexual rainbow in the sky.

Saint Paul substantiates that in his New-Testament Athens speech:

Acts 17:22 And standing in the middle of the Areopagus, Paul said: "Men, Athenians, I see how you in everything are fearful of gods;
17:23 because passing through and looking up at the objects of your worship, I also found an altar on which had been written: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Not knowing, then, whom you worship, I make Him known to you.
17:24 The God who made the world and all things in it, this One being Lord of Heaven and of Earth, does not reside in hand-made temples,
17:25 nor is served by hands of humans, as having need of anything, because He is giving life and breath and all things to all.
17:26 And He made every nation of humans of one blood [including dark-skinned negroid, quasi-tanned caucasian, slanted-eyefold asian], to live on all the face of the Earth, ordaining preappointed seasons and boundaries of their habitation,
17:27 to seek the Lord, if perhaps they might feel after Him and might find Him, though indeed He not being far from each one of us.
17:28 because in Him we live and move and exist, as also some of the poets among you have said: "We are His offspring."
17:29 Then being offspring of God, we ought not to suppose that the Godhead is like gold or silver or stone, engraved by art and the imagination of humans.
17:30 Truthfully, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now strictly commands all humans everywhere to repent,
17:31 because He set a Day in which "He is going to judge the habitable world in righteousness," by a Man whom He appointed; having given proof to all by raising Him [Jesus Christ] from the dead."

The commonality of humankind is also indicated by the fact that all humans die:

Hebrews 9:24 Christ did not enter into the Holy of Holies made by hands, types of the true things, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf,
9:25 not repeatedly offering Himself, unlike the high priest who enters into the Holy of Holies yearly with blood of animals;
9:26 otherwise He would have had to suffer from the foundation of the world. But now, once for all, at the completion of the ages, He has been manifested for abrogating sin through the [bloodied-by-fatal-crucifixion] sacrifice of Himself.
9:27 And as it is mandated for humans once to die [not be cowardly whisked away in some scaredy-cat-based pre-Trib Rapture premature fly-by], and after that Judgment;
9:28 so being once offered to bear the sins of many, Christ shall appear a second time, without sin, to those eagerly expecting Him for salvation.

Another aspect of the commonality of humankind is the similar capacity, means, and mechanisms they all use to sexually reproduce:

Hosea 13:13 The pangs of childbirth come for him, but he is an unwise son, because now he does not emerge out of the mouth of the womb.

And related to sexual reproduction is a built-in desire for at least some modesty of attire when in general mixed-gender public view, as the laws of the government of every nation on planet Earth clearly indicate:

Genesis 3:7 Then the eyes of both [Adam and Eve] were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons.

Such primitive and inadequate modesty was corrected by the Creator Himself soon afterwards:

Genesis 3:21 And the LORD God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins, and clothed them.

High fashion, to be sure.

What body parts did He clothe on the primal human pair?

First off, simply because some of those claiming to be of the deficient cult islam are violent and murderous terrorists shouting "Allahu Akbar!" while committing genocidal atrocities does not mean that those of that religious superstition (or any other non-Christian religion, such as Buddhists and Hindus, for instance) are deplorable deviants -- if they desire and strive for universally-acceptable morality in dress and behavior.

Some indications of what body parts the Creator clothed are found throughout Scripture, and even include hairstyle or hair covering (which will lead us right into the phenomena of the headwear of not merely orthodox Jewish gals but especially the formerly-well-publicized hair coverings of old-order Catholic nuns and [recently] the much-publicized body attire of controversial islamic/muslim women sporting differentiated hijab, niqab, chador, or burka outfits, and part of the holy and pure motivation for all of them being so clothed):

Numbers 5:18 And the priest shall set the woman [suspected of having committed adultery] before the LORD, and unbind [i.e. loosen] the hair of the woman's head [in preparation for the bitter-water-ingested Curse Test] . . . .

Song of Solomon 7:5 Your head crowns you like Carmel [my bride - not "my" masseuse-or-escort prostitute, whore, slut, harlot, etc.] and your flowing locks [mopheaded loose long hair longer than mouth-level] are like purple: a king is held captive in the tresses.

First Corinthians 11:14 Does not nature itself teach you that for a man to wear long hair is degrading to him,
11:15 but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory, because her hair is given to her for a covering [rather than her hideously being bald].
11:16 If any one intends to be contentious, we recognize no such custom [of allowing a woman to misregard her wearing loose long hair as being adequate for a prayer covering or veil], nor do the churches of God.

Relating to the hair coverings of old-order Catholic nuns and the body attire of respectable islamic/muslim women sporting differentiated hijab, niqab, chador, or burka attire, and part of the holy and pure motivation for being so clothed, other body parts of female humans everywhere on the globe are to be considered as whether or not they should be clothed, per the admonition given by Saint Paul through the Holy Spirit:

First Corinthians 12:23 . . . and those parts of the body which we think less honorable we deem having greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty,
First Corinthians 12:24 which our more presentable parts do not require . . .

And what are some of those "unpresentable" parts?

The verses below (most quoted from the RSV, NRSV, NASB, or ESV - and not from here-errant/wrongly-worded translations or "bible" versions) indicate particulars:

Second Samuel 13:18 Now she was wearing a [not-necessarily-"multi-colored"] full-length robe with long sleeves ["reaching from the wrists to the ankles" as one lexicon dictionary definition puts it], because with such were virgin daughters of the king traditionally clad.

Shame relates to naked legs being publicly bared, according to:

Isaiah 47:1 Come down and sit in the dust, virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground without a throne, daughter of the Chaldeans, because you shall no more be called tender and delicate.
47:2 Take the millstones and grind meal, put off your veil, strip off your robe, uncover your legs, pass through the rivers.
47:3 Your nakedness shall be uncovered, and your shame shall be seen. I will take vengeance, and I will spare no person.
47:4 Our Redeemer, the LORD of hosts is His name: the Holy One of Israel.
47:5 Sit in silence, and go into darkness, daughter of the Chaldeans, because you shall no more be called the mistress of kingdoms.

The sexually-immoral-context description makes it perfectly clear that what is being mentioned next [i.e. female-human barefootedness] goes beyond mere allusion to non-human idolatrous imagery:

Jeremiah 2:20 "Long ago you broke your yoke and burst your bonds; and you said: "I will not serve." Yes, upon every high hill and under every green tree you bowed down as a harlot.
2:21 Yet I planted you a choice vine, completely of pure seed. How then have you turned degenerate and become a wild vine?
2:22 Though you wash yourself with lye and use much soap, the stain of your guilt is yet present to me," says the Lord GOD.
2:23 How can you say: "I am not defiled, I have not gone after the Baals?" Look at your way in the valley; know what you have done: a restless young camel crossing her tracks,
2:24 a wild ass used to the wilderness, in her heat sniffing the wind! Who can restrain her lust? None who seek her need weary themselves; in her month they will find her.
2:25 Keep your feet from going unshod and your throat from thirst. But you said: "It is hopeless, because I have loved strangers, and after them I will go."

Ezekiel elaborates:

Ezekiel 16:25 At the head of every highway you have built your high place, and have made your beauty despised. And you have parted your feet to all who passed by, and have multiplied your fornications.

Again, with reference to the formerly-well-publicized hair coverings of old-order Catholic nuns and [much-publicized] body attire of controversial islamic/muslim women sporting differentiated hijabs, niqabs, chadors, or burkas, and part of the holy and pure motivation for being so clothed, most of the following female body parts alluded to in the following Scripture references are illegal to expose in general public view in America, and violators are guilty of committing public-nuisance indecent exposure or lewd conduct:

Proverbs 5:15 Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well.
5:16 Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets?
5:17 Let them be for yourself alone, and not for strangers with you.
5:18 Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth,
5:19 a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her nipples fill you at all times with delight, be infatuated always with her love.
5:20 Why, my son, should you lust at a loose woman, and embrace the [perhaps-young-and-shapely, non-saggy] boobs of an adventuress?
5:21 A man's ways are before the eyes of the LORD, and He watches all his paths.
5:22 The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is caught in the labors of his sin.
5:23 He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly, he is lost.

Regarding [shameful] public exposure of the rear-end derriere bottoms of the inferior-gender in general mixed-gender public view:

Isaiah 20:3 . . . the LORD said: "As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot for three years as a sign and a portent against Egypt and Ethiopia,
Isaiah 20:4 so shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians captives and the Ethiopians exiles, both the young and the old, naked and barefoot, with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

And public exhibitionism of the female gender's pussy [i.e. crotch area]?

Isaiah 3:16 The LORD said: "Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks, glancing wantonly with their eyes, mincing along as they go, tinkling [noisily] with their feet;
Isaiah 3:17 the Lord will smite with a scab the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will lay bare their secret parts."

God (and His prophet Nahum) were not dirty/gutter-minded rapists intent on taking indecent liberties, though to perverts and pervertesses they are often presumed as such:

Ezekiel 16:37 " . . . therefore, hey, I will gather all your lovers, with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved and all those you loathed; I will gather them against you from every side, and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness."
Nahum 3:5 "Hey, I am against you," says the LORD of hosts, "and will lift up your skirts over your face; and I will let nations look on your nakedness and kingdoms on your shame."

Are we beginning to "get the picture" regarding part of the sacred and chaste mentality of Catholic nuns and islamic/muslim women wearing hijabs or niqabs or chadors or burkas?

But which one of the aforementioned islamic garb are appropriate for those in the United States to adorn themselves with when intending to display themselves in general mixed-gender public view?
The hijab is merely the equivalent of a scarf which does not cover any part of the face, whereas the niqab covers the woman's entire body (except the eyes) from top of head to slippers, sandals, or other footwear; the chador covers everything the niqab covers except all of the face is visible, and the burka covers everything the niqab covers plus even the entire face.

There is - ironically - Jewish/Hebrew Scriptural basis for all four islamic styles mentioned above [although it seems that some are more practical than others depending upon various circumstances], and all are congruent [to various extents] with the following New-Testament imperative:

First Timothy 2:8 I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;
2:9 also that women should dress themselves decently in modest apparel, not with plaited hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing
2:10 but by good works, as befits women who profess religion.
2:11 Have a woman learn in silence with all subjection.
2:12 I allow no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent,
2:13 because Adam was formed first, then Eve;
2:14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.
2:15 Yet woman will be saved by bearing children, if she continues in faith and love and holiness, with sensibility.

For most practical purposes, the year-round preference for American and European women should be the chador [also known as the chadah, chadar, chader, chudah, and chadur] with which all of the woman's body is covered except for her face and hands.

However, the burka does have some Jewish/Hebrew Old-Testament basis for being an alternative option, as the following verses from the Song of Solomon verify:

Song of Solomon 1:15 Hey, you are beautiful, my love; hey, you are beautiful; your eyes are doves.
Song of Solomon 4:1 Hey, you are beautiful, my love, hey, you are beautiful! Your eyes are doves behind your veil. Your hair is like a flock of goats, moving down the slopes of Gilead.
Song of Solomon 4:9 You have ravished my heart, my sister, my bride, you have ravished my heart with a glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace.
Song of Solomon 6:5 Turn away your eyes from me, because they disturb me. Your hair is like a flock of goats, moving down the slopes of Gilead.
Song of Solomon 7:4 Your neck is like an ivory tower. Your eyes are pools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim. Your nose is like a tower of Lebanon, overlooking Damascus.

And the niqab [with most of the face covered] has advantages, according to:

Song of Solomon 2:14 Oh my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff ["get a room" or "take it home"], let me see your face, let me hear your voice, because your voice is sweet, and your face is attractive. All the [canonical] Judeo-Christian Biblical references above are much more detailed and precise than what is found in the random-prose rather-disorderly-assembled Koran [i.e. Qur'an] pertaining to the subjects at hand.

Bonus:

We genuine atoned-for-by-Christ Christians are yet "under the Law" (which we inwardly delight in, as authentic Christians) by reviewing and obeying the Ten Commandments (NOT "ten suggestions"), which Divine Orders
can simply be summarized as follows:

01. You must worship only God and no one else.
02. You must not worship any idol.
03. You must not profanely swear using God's Name.
04. You must close down your business on your Sabbaths and instead go to church on those days.
05. You must honor your parents.
06. You must not murder.
07. You must not steal.
08. You must not commit adultery.
09. You must not lie.
10. You must not covet what belongs to your neighbors.
